The Atefi Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Office of Employees Affairs under the Herat Provincial Authority, organized a two-day training seminar titled “Management and Leadership Skills” for employees of government offices in Zinda Jan District. The event, held on June 23 and 24, was attended by 34 managers and officials from various departments of the district.
During the seminar, key topics such as organizational structuring, effective decision-making, proper management techniques, and leadership principles were presented in a practical and academic manner by Dr. Najibullah Ishaqzai, a university professor.
Additionally, Mr. Ishaq Yousufzai, an employee of the Herat Provincial Office of Employees Affairs, delivered a session on planning and professional report-writing.
At the conclusion of the event, Abdul Zahir Ershad, Deputy Director of the Atefi Charity Foundation, explained the foundation’s objectives and activities to the participants.
Hajji Mufti Abdul Hadi Burhan, District Governor of Zinda Jan, addressed the attendees, emphasizing:
“Such valuable training opportunities are rare, so participants must make the most of these programs and apply what they have learned in their professional work.”
He also praised the Atefi Charity Foundation and the Herat Provincial Authority for this constructive initiative and stressed the need for similar programs in the future.
Furthermore, Mufti Seyed Bashir Sadaat, Director of Education for Zinda Jan District, expressed gratitude on behalf of the participants to the Herat Provincial Authority and the Atefi Charity Foundation for organizing the seminar and requested the continuation of such training programs.
The seminar aimed to enhance the managerial and leadership capacities of district employees, and it is expected that participants will implement their newly acquired knowledge to improve administrative performance in Zinda Jan.
Certificates of participation were distributed at the closing ceremony, and the event concluded with a closing prayer.
