MARRIAGE FUND (WESAL) PROJECT
One of the current barriers and problems of youth in Afghanistan is marriage fund. Traditions, irregular ethnics, and family competitions made many of youth not to get married easily. Most youths must wait many years because of heavy marriage expenditures or have to travel for work outside of the country for long time to earn their marriage expenses.
Atefi Foundation concentrated on this vital and important social problem and obliged itself to untie knots of youths’ problem with its in-hand facilities. As of the moment, a total of 232 couples is married under this program. This project covers wedding food beside household needs such as furniture, refrigerator, TV, oven, washing machine, iron, electronic heater, carpet, rug, dishes, cloths and shoes).
