A two-day guidance workshop entitled “Explanation of Administrative and Teaching Books” was held by the Herat Education Department, in cooperation with the Atefi Charity Foundation, for 45 members of the professional development of teachers of the Islamic Education Department in Herat city and districts on the 25th and 26th of June 2025.

The purpose of this workshop is to improve the capacity and raise the level of awareness of participants in the administrative and teaching departments in order to implement educational and administrative affairs in religious schools correctly and standardly.

At the opening ceremony of this workshop, Mavlavi Rahmatullah “Jaber”, the Director of the Herat Education Department, stated in his speech: Islamic education is the main pillar of our educational system. If an Islamic education teacher has a clear understanding of the content of the course and how to implement it, he can educate the future generation with religious and national values.

He continued by expressing his gratitude to charitable institutions, especially the Atefi Charity Foundation, and said: Organizing such workshops in cooperation with such institutions directly plays a role in improving the quality of education.

Subsequently, Abdul Zahir “Ershad”, the deputy director of the Atefi Charity Foundation, while listing the activities of this foundation in the field of education in Herat over the past few years, said: The Atefi Charity Foundation is trying to raise the quality and academic level of teachers and students in all schools in the city and districts of Herat by continuing to hold such seminars.

At the end of this two-day seminar, Mavlavi Akhtar Mohammad “Akbari”, the head of Islamic education in the Herat Education Department, also thanked and appreciated the Atefi Charity Foundation for its constant cooperation with the Herat Education Department and emphasized the continuation of launching such effective programs.

At the end of the seminar, certificates were also distributed to 45 participants of the seminar.
