Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Atefi Charity Foundation and the Herat Provincial Municipality!
In order to promote social services and develop joint cooperation, the Atefi Charity Foundation and the Herat Provincial Municipality signed an official memorandum of understanding.
This memorandum, which was signed on Wednesday, 17 Sep 2025, at the office of the Herat Provincial Municipality, provides grounds for cooperation in the areas of (education, strengthening cultural affairs and expanding knowledge, raising awareness and improving the level of general literacy of the community, allocating annual scholarships and special discounts to municipal employees at the Institute of Emotional Health Sciences, and strengthening relationships).
The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding was held in the presence of Alhaj Mullah Nematullah Hassan Haji Sahib, Mayor of Herat, and Abdul Zahir Ershad, Deputy Director of the Atefi Charity Foundation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of constructive interaction, synergy of resources, and joint efforts to achieve social goals.
The implementation of this memorandum is considered an effective step towards developing cooperation between non-governmental and local institutions and improving the level of social services.
