On the evening of the 27th of the holy month of Ramadan, an iftar gathering was organized by the Department of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat Province, attended by the Deputy Governor and several heads of governmental departments, held in the courtyard of the department.
During the event, Alhaj Hafiz Mirza Mohammad “Abu Mansoor,” Head of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat Province, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of supporting orphaned children. He stated that these children are comprehensively supported by the relevant authorities and are provided with necessary services across various sectors.
On the sidelines of the event, the Atefi Charity Foundation, in a humanitarian initiative, donated clothing to 240 orphaned children from the Khwaja Abdullah Ansari Orphanage.
These clothes were produced in the Atefi Charity Foundation’s vocational training workshop by trainees of the program and were distributed with the aim of supporting vulnerable children and promoting a culture of empathy and cooperation.
