Today, Monday, June 1, 2026, a scientific-educational seminar entitled “Preventing the Disclosure of Confidential Documents and Information” was held in Herat city with the participation of 45 employees from various Emirate government departments.
The seminar was organized as part of capacity-building and professional development programs for government employees by the Directorate of Personnel Affairs of the Herat Governor’s Office in cooperation with the Atefi Charity Foundation.
At the beginning of the program, Mr. Abdul Zahir “Ershad,” Deputy Director of the Atefi Charity Foundation, welcomed the participants and spoke about the objectives of organizing such seminars. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding confidential documents and information within government institutions and highlighted the role of these educational programs in enhancing awareness, responsibility, and adherence to information confidentiality principles.
The seminar was then delivered by Dr. Abdul Khaliq Haqqani, a university professor. During the session, he presented scientific and practical insights on the importance of protecting confidential documents and information, the consequences of information disclosure, the legal and administrative responsibilities of employees, and effective measures to prevent information leakage.
It is noteworthy that the presentation received significant attention and appreciation from the participants, who described the seminar as beneficial and effective in increasing their awareness and improving their administrative performance.
