On Monday 11th December 2023, Atefi Foundation held graduation ceremony of 96 interns of its vocational skill learners with the presence of Education Directorate officials, Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat province, Education sub-directorate of Ghoryan district, president of local community shura, district representatives, Police officials, local community leaders and tens of youth and teenagers at Ghoryan district in gathering hall of Mohammad Rasul Allah (PBUH).

At the initiation of the ceremony, Abdul Zahir “Ershad” Atefi Foundation Deputy in relation to the conclusion of two projects (vocational and school) provided information for the participants and uttered: through the vocational project of the foundation, 96 teenagers and youth after passing of six-months learning period graduated from tailoring and mobile repair departments and will receive their graduation certificates. Additionally stated; via Foundation’s school project in 2023 educational year, 200 of in-need orphan children in different areas of Ghoryan district were introduced to the public schools and district appendage schools with the cooperation of Education directorate of Herat province and Education sub-directorate of Ghoryan district.

Later, Ali Raza one of the tailoring department graduates presented a message on behalf of his fellows.

Subsequently, Mofti Abdul Qayom “Wasiq” sub-director of labor and social affairs directorate, Movlavi Shojaudin “Ayobi” representative of Education Directorate of Herat province, Movlavi Sayed Ahmad “Adeb” education sub-directorate monitoring manager in Ghoryan district, Movalvi Qhulam Sarwar president of social shura of Ghoryan district, Movlavi Abdul Qayom “Ershad” representative of police department of Ghoryan district, Movlavi Mohammad preacher of Prophet Mohammad Rasul Allah (PBUH) grand mosque and Movalvi Abdul Majid stated the role and importance of vocational trainings for youth specifically in districts and pointed to the teenagers and youth’s responsibility and mission in occupying the learned vocational skills for the benefit of their homeland and community. Additionally, appreciated the Atefi Foundation for paving the ground for such publicly useful projects.

In the end, partner administration’s officials were appreciated by the Atefi Foundation and certificates of 96 interns of various departments (tailoring and mobile repair) were distributed by the religious scholars and Emirate’s officials.
