This program, which is a joint action of the Department of Social Affairs and the Atefi Foundation, includes 340 drug addicts and 240 other homeless and needy youths and teenagers who are will be trained in the fields of sewing, mobile phones repairing, home electrical appliances and motorcycle repairing.

It should be mentioned that among the 340 drug addicts, 100 of them have been covered by the Atefi Foundation, and they are will be trained in two departments, mobile phone repairing and sewing, over the course of six months.

In a ceremony held at the addiction treatment center of Herat Province, Alhaj Mavlavi Hedayatullah Mohajer Farahi Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Ministry and Deputy Official of Herat Province, Alhaj Maulvi Hafiz Mirza Muhammad “Abu Mansour” Head of Work and Social Affairs of Herat Province, Abdul Zahir Ershad Deputy Atefi Foundation, Abdul Qadir Rezaei one of the drug addicts, Mavlavi Hafizullah “Mabrour” Deputy Director of Anti-Narcotics Management of Herat Province, Sheikholhadis Mavlana Sebghatullah “Molavizadeh” and Mavlavi Saifuddin Azizi Head of Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf Herat province, gave a speech and each of them expressed their gratitude for launching such important and basic programs and considered the activities of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs and the Atefi Foundation to be effective in this field.

in the recent, after the gathering ended with the recitation of Maulvi Hikmatullah Mobami, the guests officially opened the technical and vocational training center by cutting the ribbon.
