The iftar meal was spread by Atefi Foundation, while Maulana Hafiz Mirza Muhammad Abu Mansour, head of work and social affairs of Herat province and colleagues of that department were also present for 1000 drug addicts in Herat who are victims of this terrible phenomenon.
Abdul Zaher Ershad, deputy of Atefi Foundation, said that the purpose of distributing this iftar is to promote the culture of empathy and acceptance with the affected people in the society.
He said these people need kindness and human affection; And we have a duty to sympathize with them and not look down on them.
According to him, such movements strengthen the spirit of trust in the existence of addicts and give them hope for their future life.
