The purpose of setting up these educational classes is to improve the knowledge and skills of employees of government offices and to familiarize them with computer programs.
In a meeting held on this occasion in the conference hall of the Herat provincial government, Maulvi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Ministry and deputy official of the Herat province, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of Atefi Foundation in providing training facilities to government employees and said: As much as the officers of the departments raise their level of knowledge, they can make good use of their knowledge in performing the assigned tasks and become a source of better service for the clients. He also asked other charitable organizations to cooperate with Herat local administration in setting up such programs like the Atefi Foundation.
In this ceremony, Maulvi Gholam Dastgir “Ilham”, the head of human resources of Herat province, mentioned the necessity and importance of contemporary technologies and the role of technology in the advancement of administrative affairs in the current situation, calling the cooperation of Atefi Foundation in the past and present good.
He added: During this period (66) employees of various government departments have been organized in these classes and are trained for three months.
Also, Abdulzaher “Ershad”, deputy of the Atefi Foundation, explained the purpose of setting up these classes and said: This educational program will be held two days a week during official hours for three months in two classes at different times in the private institution of Atefi Higher Education.
He said: Atefi Foundation has always tried to raise the scientific and practical capacities of teachers, civil servants and students of schools, educational classes, seminars and other educational programs in Herat city and districts.
A few days ago (55) employees of government offices learned the basics of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in the first period of this program and obtained their graduation certificate.
