Launching capacity building seminar for (100) teachers of Pusht-e-Zarghoon district of Herat province
In order to improve the capacity of teachers in the remote districts of Herat province, and based on the agreement between Atefi Charity Foundation and the Department of Education of this province, a capacity improvement seminar was held for (100) teachers of different schools in Pusht-e-Zarghoon district.
This seminar, which was organized by the Atefi Charity Foundation and in cooperation with the Department of Education of Herat Province, in those topics (characteristics of a teacher, goals of education and training, class management, curriculum and active teaching methods) was discussed by four teachers of the Directorate of Professional Development of the Department The education of Herat province.
Mavlavi Mohammad Omar “Afzaly”, the executive director of education departemetn of Pusht-e-Zarghoon district; In this seminar, said: that holding such educational programs and capacity building is very effective and valuable for increasing the ability of teachers and the quality of education and the country’s education system.
Also, Abdulzaher “Ershad”, deputy of Atefi Charity Foundation, while providing information about the goals and programs of the mentioned foundation, said: this is the fifth and the last seminar has been held this year to improve the capacity of teachers in the most deprived districts of Herat.
Also, some participants in this seminar, expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the good action of Atefi Charity Foundation and Herat Education Department in providing such programs for teachers.
they asked the Department of Education and this foundation; By holding such seminars in remote districts, they will provide a better learning environment for students and try to increase the capacities in schools.
It should be mentioned that, on the sidelines of this seminar, with the presence of the education director of Pusht-e-Zarghoon district, distributed school bags and stationery to the 200 needy students of different schools in that district from Atefi charity Foundation.
