Based on the agreement signed between the foundation and the Herat provincial education department in the academic year 1404, 100 orphans and needy children from the villages of (Kabutar Khan, Dahan Salma, Putia and Khak Rash) in Chisht Sharif district, Herat province, were covered by the assistance of the Atefi Charity Foundation.
At a ceremony held on this occasion at the Mansouri marble mosque in Kabutar Khan Village, Abdul Zaher “Ershad”, deputy of the Atefi Charity Foundation, spoke about the activities of the foundation and providing education for children deprived of school and the responsibilities of parents and society towards them.
Later, Mavalvi Sayed Mohammad “Obeidi”, the head of education in the Chisht Sharif district, said: “Distributing (clothes, bags, shoes and stationery) to students not only has an encouraging aspect and makes them come to school with special interest and follow their lessons, but also helps to improve the financial and economic situation of families.”
Also, the honorable Mavlavi Ahmad Habibi, the head of the order of good and evil, Mavlavi Mohammad Nabi Musleh, the director of guidance, Hajj and Endowment, and Mavlavi Sayed Mohsen, respectively, spoke about the position and role of the importance of education from the perspective of the religion of Islam, and called for more cooperation from the Atefi Charity Foundation and other institutions that help needy students in this district.
Recently, the foundation’s aid packages including (clothes, school bags, shoes and stationery) were distributed to 100 male and female children.
