On Tuesday, October 21, 2025 (29 Mizan 1404), the Atefi Charity Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Training and Performance Evaluation of the Directorate of Civil Service Affairs of Herat Provincial Office, organized a one-day educational seminar entitled “Prevention of Underage Employment and Its Adverse Religious and Legal Consequences.”
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Rafiullah Azimi, a university lecturer, who discussed key topics such as the consequences of underage employment, children’s rights, the status of children from an Islamic perspective, and the religious and legal responsibilities of institutions in this regard.
A total of 30 officials and directors from various government departments participated in the event. Participants shared their insights and experiences on how to prevent this undesirable social phenomenon.
Holding such programs by the Atefi Charity Foundation is considered an effective step toward raising awareness among government employees about child protection and promoting adherence to human and Islamic principles in the recruitment process.
