On the evening of the 21st of Ramadan, the Atefi Charity Foundation distributed hot Iftar meals to 500 individuals undergoing treatment at the Herat Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center. These individuals, who have either willingly or unwillingly fallen victim to this harmful phenomenon, are now receiving treatment and support.
Abdul Zahir “Ershad,” Deputy of the Atefi Charity Foundation, stated that the main objective of organizing this Iftar program is to promote a culture of empathy, solidarity, and social acceptance toward vulnerable and affected members of society.
It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Atefi Charity Foundation has distributed hot Iftar meals to 2,500 individuals, including workers at various city roundabouts, residents of orphanages, and persons with disabilities.
