Atefi Charity Foundation, as part of its ongoing social responsibility and environmental initiatives, donated 300 saplings (cypress, pine, and Judas tree) to the Union of Charity Foundations of Herat Province and, through the union, to the Municipality of Herat. The donation aims to expand green spaces and contribute to the creation of a healthier environment.
This initiative took place during a meeting held today with the participation of representatives of charitable organizations in Herat Province. During the meeting, a total of 4,300 saplings were donated by various charitable institutions, of which 300 saplings were contributed by Atefi Charity Foundation.
At the conclusion of the program, the Head of Urban Administration of Herat Municipality and the Director of the Herat Environmental Protection Department expressed their appreciation to the Union of Charity Foundations for their participation in this initiative and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between charitable organizations and Herat Municipality to expand green areas, reduce pollution, and create a more beautiful and healthier city.
