A two-day training seminar entitled “Administrative Skills and Management in Official Working Hours” was held in Ghoryan District, Herat Province, with the participation of 30 employees from various government departments in the district.
The seminar was organized to enhance the capacity and professional competencies of government employees by familiarizing them with administrative principles and skills, official protocol and etiquette, time management, effective communication, official correspondence, meeting management, professional ethics, teamwork, and the delivery of improved public services.
Throughout the training program, participants not only received theoretical instruction but also engaged in practical exercises and group discussions. They exchanged views on the existing challenges within administrative workplaces and explored practical solutions for improving the quality and efficiency of public services.
The seminar was organized by the Department of Civil Service Affairs of the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office in collaboration with the Atefi Charity Foundation.
During the closing ceremony, Mawlawi Wali Jan Salik, Deputy District Governor of Ghoryan, expressed his appreciation to the organizers and described the seminar as a valuable and effective initiative for strengthening the capacity of government employees. He also emphasized the importance of continuing such professional development programs. Certificates of participation were then presented to all participants.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their satisfaction with both the training content and the organization of the seminar. They called for the continuation of similar capacity-building programs for government employees and highlighted the significant role of such training in improving the quality of public services and enhancing the efficiency and professionalism of the government workforce.
