Since the beginning of the week, the Herat Department of Education, in collaboration with the Atefi Charity Foundation, has organized a series of educational, cultural, and informative seminars for 620 students from eight high schools in Herat City.
These programs were held in Jami, Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan, Taqi Saifi, Herawi, Tajrobavi, Jabali, Abdul Ali Shah Tokhi, and Jebreel Boys High School, covering important topics such as the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), combating harmful traditions and customs, coping with life challenges, the role of youth in an Islamic society, and preparation for the (university entrance exam).
In these programs, a representative of the Atefi Charity Foundation introduced the foundation’s goals and activities, while the presentation and facilitation of the seminars were conducted by four officials from the Herat Department of Education: Mansoor Salamyar (Head of Educational Councils), Sayed Nabi Qatali (Head of Publications), Farid Ahmad Farahmand (Secretary of the Department), and Abdul Qader Karimi (Academic and Professional Member of Herat Education Trainers).
The purpose of holding these seminars was to enhance awareness, intellectual growth, and motivation among youth and school students.
