Holding of a Two-Day Seminar on “Empowering Government Employees to Implement Work Plans” in Herat
A two-day training seminar entitled “Empowering Employees to Implement Work Plans” was held by the Directorate of Personnel Affairs of the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office, in cooperation with the Atefi Charity Foundation. A total of forty-seven (47) department heads, managers, and employees from Emirati government offices of Herat Province participated in this seminar.
At the opening of the program, Abdul Zahir Ershad, Deputy of the Atefi Charity Foundation, referred to the foundation’s programs and activities and emphasized its commitment to enhancing the capacity of government employees in both the provincial center and the districts.
Likewise, Noor-ul-Haq Ahmadi, Head of Training and Performance Evaluation of Employees at the Directorate of Personnel Affairs of the Herat Governor’s Office, highlighted the importance of such training programs in improving the quality of administrative performance and expressed his appreciation for the cooperation and efforts of the Atefi Charity Foundation.
This training program was conducted professionally by Pohanyar Ali Ahmad Amiri, a lecturer at Herat University. Participants, in addition to receiving theoretical lessons, actively took part in group work sessions. During the seminar, key topics such as methods of developing and organizing strategic plans, setting work objectives, and the role of employees within the administrative framework were discussed and reviewed.
The seminar concluded with the recitation of a closing prayer and the distribution of certificates to the participants.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the current year, the Atefi Charity Foundation has organized ten (10) scientific and training seminars aimed at enhancing the capacity of government employees in the city center and districts of Herat Province.
