47 employees of the Herat Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation participated in a two-day training seminar organized by the Atefi Charity Foundation.
This seminar, titled “Fundamentals of Management and Leadership”, was held for employees of the Land Department of this department in cooperation with the Department of Training and Performance Evaluation of the Personnel Affairs Department of the Herat Provincial Government.
Abdul Zaher “Ershad”, Deputy of Atefi Charity Foundation, while explaining the activities of this foundation during the current year, stated that one of the most important goals of the foundation is improve the capacity of employees of departments, teachers, youth and adolescents in need.
He added that: this foundation has been able to take effective steps in the quantitative and qualitative improvement of departments through various programs.
In this seminar, which was presented by Dr. Najibullah “Ishaqzai”, Head of the Department of Economics of Ghalib University of Herat, topics such as (concepts of management and leadership, teamwork in departments, decision-making and optimal utilization of financial and human resources) were reviewed and analyzed.
A number of participants expressed their satisfaction with holding such training programs and called for the continuation of such seminars, considering them very effective in improving the performance of departments and achieving desired goals.
It is worth noting that by the end of this year, such seminars with similar titles will be implemented and held in other departments of Herat.
Finally, this program concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
