Today, Feb 24, 2025, during a ceremony, the joint programs of Atefi Charity Foundation and Herat Education Department included: (capacity building seminars for 500 teachers of (Adreskan, Pashtun Zarghun, Posht Koh, Zawol and Koshk Rabat Sangi) districts of Herat province, cultural and scientific seminars for 1793 12th grade students of schools, survey and introduction of 200 orphans and deprived children in Chesht Sharif district to schools, donation of educational supplies to 200 students covered by Atefi Charity Foundation in Ghoryan district of Herat for the second consecutive year, distribution of school bags and stationarty to 1000 students of Schools in 5 districts, 10 free scholarships were awarded to employees of the Department of Education and 20 service employees of the department were introduced to Afghan Salamat Hospital for free treatment.
At first, Abdul Zaher Ershad, deputy of the Atefi Charity Foundation, clarified the activities carried out in the field of education in the 2024 academic year.
Later, Mavlavi Abdullah Amini, Deputy Director of Education of Herat Province, while praising the functions of Atefi Charity Foundation in Herat province, spoke about the value and importance of fundamental works in the direction of education and requested other charities to spend their capital on such fundamental works.
Mavlavi Hamidullah Ghiaasi, director of culture and arts of the Herat Information and Culture Department, also praised the leadership and officials of the Atefi Charity Foundation and its achievements over the years.
Subsequently, a video documentary of the Foundation’s practical activities in the field of education this year was shown to the audience.
Finally, a plaque of appreciation prepared by the Herat Education Department was handed over to the Atefi Charity Foundation by the deputy director of the department.
Then, the teachers who took an active part in advancing the teacher capacity building seminars and cultural, educational and information programs of the foundation were appreciated by presenting plaques of appreciation.
At the end, the ceremony ended with a prayer by Mavlavi Badar Siddiqi, the coordination officer of the Herat Justice Department.
