A two-day seminar on 23 and 24 March 2025 under the title (Management and Leadership Skills) was held by the Department of Training and Performance Evaluation of the Personnel Affairs Department of the Herat Provincial Government and with the financial and logistical support of the Atefi Charity Foundation for the employees of the Herat Provincial Education Department.
In this seminar, which was attended by 30 members of the Professional Development Department and executive directors of some schools, (principled methods of management and leadership, organization and organization of the department, and the planning and decision-making process) were presented and discussed by Professor Najibullah Ishaqzai, a university professor.
Abdul Zaher “Ershad”, Deputy Director of the Atefi Charity Foundation, while listing the activities of this foundation in the field of training and capacity building of departmental employees and teachers in the city and districts, said: One of the most important goals of this foundation is to improve the capacity of departmental employees, teachers, youth and adolescents in need.
He added that the foundation has been able to take effective steps in improving the quantity and quality of departments through various programs, and this is the third training program that will be held this year for the employees of the emirate departments in the center of Herat city.
At the same time, Mustafa “Qane”, a professional member of the Education and Capacity Building Department of the Herat Provincial Education Department, also considered this initiative of the Atefi Charity Foundation and the Department of Training and Performance Evaluation of the Personnel Affairs Department of the Herat Provincial Government important and valuable, and called for the continuation of the process of improving the level of scientific and professional capacity of the department’s employees.
A number of participants also expressed their satisfaction with holding such training programs and called for the continuation of such seminars, considering them very effective in improving the performance of departments and achieving desired goals.
Finally, the program concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants and the recitation of a prayer.
