According to the agreement signed between the Atfi Charity Foundation and the Department of Education of Herat province, with the aim of improving the capacity of teachers in the remote districts of this province, (88) teachers of secondary schools in the villages of ( Darwish Ali, Burjank, Turghondi, Khajejir, Shaghi, Yake Thram, Khaja Noor, Chahar Dara, Sangbar, Qazi Mohammad Ismail Jamshidi, Ghosh Asiab Maududi, Doo Ab Sofla and Ajirim) of Koshk Robat Sangi district benefited from this seminar.
This seminar, which was held in cooperation with the Department of Education of Herat Province, covered those topics (characteristics of a teacher, goals of education, classroom management, curriculum, active teaching methods and new teaching methods) was discussed by four teachers from the Directorate of Professional Development of the Herat Provincial Department of Education.
Maulvi Seyyed Ahmad “Adeeb”, education director of Koshk Robat Sangi district; In this seminar, said: that holding such seminars is very effective and valuable for improving the capacity of teachers and the quality of education.
Meanwhile, Mavlavi Mohammad Awaz “Muzmal” the director of the central school of that district; also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the good action of Atfi Charity Foundation and the Department of Education of Herat province in providing this seminar for teachers and asked the Department of Education and this foundation; By holding such seminars in remote districts, they will provide a better learning environment for the students and increase the capacities in the schools.
Also, Abdulzaher “Ershad”, deputy of the Atefi Charity Foundation, while providing information about the goals and programs of the mentioned foundation, said: these seminars are to be held in five remote districts of this province, and the third seminar was launched today in Koshk, Robat Sangi district.
It should be mentioned that on the sidelines of this seminar, in the presence of the education director of that district, distributed school bags and stationery to the 200 needy students of different schools of that district.
