The second round of technical and vocational classes of the Atefi Charity Foundation began with the presence of heads of government departments and was officially opened during a ceremony.
Abdulzaher “Ershad”, deputy of Atefi Charity Foundation during a speech in this gathering, while enumerating the public benefit activities of this foundation in this year, he said: This is the second stage of technical and professional classes which is held for the needy and underprivileged youth in different areas of Herat city.
He said: (mobile phone repair, tailoring and computer training) Professions are supposed to be taught in these classes.
After, Alhaji Mavlavi Hafiz Mirza Muhammad “Abo Mansour”, the head of work and social affairs of Herat province, while pointing out the functions and activities of that department in the direction of empowering the youth, also expressed his gratitude to this foundation and requested from Atefi charity Foundation and other charitable institutions to concentrate most of their activities in remote districts.
Abdul Matin “Adel”, the head of youth affairs of the Department of Information and Culture of Herat province, also specified the role and responsibilities of the youth in the current situation of the country and mentioned the Atefi Charity Foundation, which provides the training of technical and professional skills for the needy youth and it works in the fields of education and capacity building.
Subsequently, Mohammad Shafiq, one of the trainees, on behalf of his fellow students, said: “I and the other participants in this educational program, today we are very happy that the charity foundation for us in the field of technical and vocational training in the fields of (tailoring, mobile repair and computer training) so that we can enter the job market by learning our favorite field after graduation and be of service to ourselves, our family and society.
Recently, the above-mentioned classes were opened with a prayer recitation by the head of integration of Herat province justice department.
